St Luke's School

Tri-School Partnership

The Tri-school Partnership is the collective name for St Luke's, Grouville and St Clement's primary schools that work in close collaboration and learn from one another to improve outcomes for all our children.  The scope of these settings includes a professional community with in-depth expertise and knowledge of child development and learning from 3 to 11 years old.

Through our work together we collaborate to strengthen our capacity to face challenges, create innovation from research and contribute to the professional growth of our staff.  Having worked in partnership for over 9 years, we know that effective school-to-school collaboration takes time and care to develop.  We also know that schools improve faster and more effectively by working together.

2025 - 2026 Tri-School foci:

  • Strategic Vision – Headteachers share each school's current improvement plan, looking for opportunities to work together in partnership and learn from each other.
  • Professional Development – Class teachers work collaboratively, sharing practice, expertise and classroom strategies.
  • Moderation–Termly opportunities for year groups to work together to moderate their teacher assessments.
  • Inclusion – Shared INSET with invited keynote speakers/staff CPD.  Monday 20th April INSET - Adaptive Teaching: Margaret Mulholland & Katherine Walsh (tbc).
